Session 25: From Zero to Hero.

Our crew managed to get themselves upstairs and Tagar floated up there invisible to see if they had heard the battle below.  There were 3 Hobgoblins waiting in ambush.  He floated back down and caused a ruckus and distracted the Hobgoblins.  Then a big fight started.  3 got webbed by  Robbie and the others were taken down.  The big baddie was tough and hit hard but thanks to Robbie's sleep spell everyone got to live to see another day.

The building itself could use some work.  Maybe 1 month of work and about 1K of GP in materials and you will have your own hideout.  This hideout would give you a place to keep all of your things securely.  It would also give any retainers a +2 to their morale since they would have  a place to stay and feel like they were part of a team.

After returning the little girl, who was absolutely freaked out, no one around here has ever seen a hobgoblin, its only something that is talked about in children's stories.  Its seems like they are real.  The father was very happy to get his $ and his little girl.

  • 1500 XP for the quest.
  • 250GP/XP for the gold reward
  • 9 Hobnobbers and one hobnobber body guard: 210 XP
  • Big Ole 2 handed sword
  • Run Down Old Inn (Good hideout for treasure seeking adventurers)

Session 24:
3 Skeletons (30XP) , 1 Shadow (35XP), 2 Goblins (10XP), 4 Hobgoblins (60XP).
135 XP session 24

Session 25:
1960 XP

Both sessions:
2095 XP
419 XP each PC

Then everyone made their way to the dungeon again the next day.  They stumbled upon a dead-end hallway with a scorch mark on the ground in front of it.  The end of the hallway has a rune on the wall. (Can only be understood by read magic) and Robbie went and touched it.  It teleported him to a small room with some old broken alchemy tubes and flasks.  A star chart and lots of old crumbling books.  There was one book that was intact.  Robbie grabbed the book and the star chart and left the room.
