After resting and refreshing in the baboons' poop room they crew starts off again to find the daggers. They make their way north and west to the room where they last saw the mad max idiots sleeping. This time they were awake and carrying on around a cauldron drinking and acting crazy. Two of them saw Tagar and offered him a drink. He took a swig (Save vs Poison) and it gave him a tingle but his head remained clear. Bill tried to cast charm person on one of the two that came by to talk and he just walked away, sat in a corner and held his head.
After some time the whole group made their way into the party and were asking questions. A few of the idiots were nice and cheerful, some were keeping their distance, one was cradling a dirty baby doll (which looked ridiculous given he was wearing some kind of weird armor and was holding a weapon). The crew spread out and discovered they were preparing for the hunt. The hunt is lead by Rythik, leader of the mad max idiots. Eventually Rythick came out of his room and eyed the strangers. A big man wearing fine looking chainmail and a nice shield. The rest of his outfit was ramshackle but he clearly garnered the respect of the tribe. He started banging on something to get everyone's attention. Rythik is looking for the ones who killed their brethren. bill told them he thinks he saw who did it and Rythik sent 2 people to go check it out. Bill tried to explain but his words were beyond Rythik's comprehension. He offered the new comers a drink, a few pretended to drink and Tagar just drank up again. Rythik could tell no one was drinking and got skeptical. Two guards moved to Rythik's position and everyone started banging their weapons and chanting.
The fight basically started when Tagar assassinated one of the guards, took him by surprise. Then all hell broke loose. Snobby dropped a good number with his sleep spell and everyone else was fighting. After some time, others came up from another room and the 2 who went to check and see about the false adventurers who killed their friends came back too. Someone kicked over the cauldron, the fight got messy. Once Rythik saw his clan was losing he tried to run into his room but Bill cast insect swarm on the leader and that kept him busy for a while. Poor Willy the kid tried to heroically tackle/grapple/shove Rythik down and stop him. He ended up getting consumed by the swarm and it was too much for him. After some time the only one (baddy) left was Rythik and he is not easy to take down. He has no where to run, no where to hide but he is relentless and MAD. What will happen when next we meet?!
