When we last left our wanna be heroes they had cleaned up a whole bunch of the dungeons' former inmate descendants. The crazy mad max idiots were down to their hulking leader, Rythik. He battled them fearlessly knowing he had no way to escape. Death by a thousand cuts took him down in the end. Once they finished him they peeled off his armor and shield and took it. They searched his room and found an oversized jack in the box. They cleared the room and Tagar used his 10 foot pole to turn the crank, Jack jumped out and nothing happened. Inside were 1000GP, a potion, a key and 3 gems. The brown jeweled dagger was also in his room.
While searching the area for treasure 3 ghouls find their way up the hallway and attack the group. The bear and Gregoire are paralyzed, Snobby webbed them and they were dispatched. They waited about an hour for the paralysis to wear off.
While contemplating where to rest for the evening they saw the door immediately south of them quickly open a crack and close again. Bill decides to grab Boomy and see if he can pound 'em. Inside are a bunch of pale, dirty humans. Looks a lot like the inmates they trounced earlier that day. Women, Children and a few teenager boys. lots of chaos, anger and fear from the group. One youngin ran out a side door. When They tried to stop them the group swarmed them and created a human shield, the boy ran and ran yelling down the dark hallway.
The group decided to back out and leave them be and go down the very hallway the kid ran down yelling. Its the shortest route to the stairs. They get past an open door and to the stairs and 6 mad max idiots are waiting for them. A fight breaks out.
